A resident of Florida since 1972, Laura began her career in the critical care units in Miami. Having the desire to expand her career in assisting others Laura established her own Realty company in 1988 and achieved various residential and commercial awards for excellence in production.
Under the RE/MAX umbrella, Laura has achieved the degree of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), the highest designation held in the real estate sales field. The distinction of selling 25 percent of all real estate transactions within the United States is a designation held by only four percent of the brokerage community in the country. Sara earned a Bachelor in Finance-Real Estate from Indiana University in May 2005, started out as a receptionist for RE/MAX Northern Palm Beaches and later became Laura Balas’s assistant. In the summer of 2004, she completed an Internship for Cushman & Wakefield, a commercial real estate brokerage, in New York before returning to Palm B
